War criminals took out seven Orthodox icons of the late 18th - early 19th centuries under the guise of "preventing an attempt" to export them. This was announced by the Center for National Resistance (CNS) on Thursday, November 10.

“The Russians announced the prevention of an “illegal attempt” to export seven Orthodox icons that were found in Energodar in the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. The occupiers allegedly transferred church valuables that belong to the religious community to the Melitopol State Museum. We are talking about icons of the late 18th - early 19th centuries.

The export of icons "to the museum" in fact means their further export to the Russian Federation, they emphasize in the central nervous system.

They also added that the invaders are actively robbing the museum funds of Ukraine.

In particular, the Russian aggressors robbed the museums of the Crimea, Donetsk, Kherson, Lugansk regions and the same museums of Melitopol.
