In the Zaporozhye region, the Russian Federation hit an evacuation convoy in the "gray zone" in order to intimidate civilians trying to leave the territory controlled by Ukraine.

This was announced by the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov on the air of the national telethon.

"Yesterday, the Russians deliberately released a very large number of cars from Vasilyevka and shot down a convoy with our civilians in the gray zone.. There were explosions at a distance of 50-100 meters from the car, people were forced to jump out of the cars, hide under the cars," he said.

There were no casualties, he said.. The mayor added that the occupiers are trying to intimidate people in such a way that they are afraid to leave, because after Melitopol people go to Vasilyevka, from where they already enter the territory controlled by Ukraine.
