Power units at two nuclear power plants stopped in Ukraine

At the Khmelnytsky and Pivdennoukrainsk power plants, the operation of power units was stopped after a missile attack by Russian aggressors.

Thus, Alexander Suprunyuk, the mayor of Netishyn, the station's satellite city, announced the shutdown of the Khmelnytsky NPP units.
 
"Stopping blocks. No power, no water, possibly heat. Preparing for the worst, hoping for the best," he wrote on Facebook.
 
Also, all power units of the Pivdennoukrainsk NPP in the Nikolaev region were emergency shut down.. This was stated by Energoatom speaker Leonid Oleinik.
 
"Yes. This is due to the destruction of networks. Everything is fine with the station. There is nowhere to supply electricity," he said.
