In Kherson, two chairmen of local communities were released from Russian captivity

Two heads of local communities of the Kherson region were released from the captivity of the invaders.

This was reported by the press service of the Association of Cities of Ukraine.
"On June 28, Oleksandr Babich, the Golopristan city chairman, and Ivan Samoylenko, the Stanislav village chairman, from the Kherson region, were released from captivity," the report says.
The invaders kidnapped Babich at the end of March - he refused to cooperate with the Russian invaders. Ivan Samoylenko was abducted in June during the departure of public utilities to an emergency site to repair the electrical network.

To date, 4 more city chairmen remain in captivity of the invaders, their fate is unknown.
