In Kupyansky district of Kharkiv region, law enforcement officers exhumed the bodies of two men. According to the preliminary version of the investigation, they were shot by the Russian military.

This was reported in the Office of the Attorney General.
"On November 24, near the forest belt in the village of Podoli, Kupyansky district, prosecutors, together with police investigators, exhumed the bodies of two local residents - men aged 28 and 39," the report says.
According to the preliminary version of law enforcement officers, the men were shot by the Russian military in mid-September, when the village was under occupation.

Fellow villagers reported that they saw the men's car stall near the Russian checkpoint, after which people heard gunfire. On the bodies of those killed, gunshot wounds were found in the torso and head.

Law enforcers launched a pre-trial investigation. 2 tbsp. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code. Currently, the bodies of the dead are sent for forensic medical examinations.
