Ukrainian military liberated two villages in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions from the invaders

Within a week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated two villages: Dmitrovka in the Izyumsky district of the Kharkiv region and Mazanovka in the Donetsk region.

This was announced during a briefing by Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexei Gromov.

According to him, in the Slavic direction, the Ukrainian military over the past week managed to improve the tactical situation and move deep into the defense of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Mazanovka, Brazhkovka, Suligovka and Dmitrovka.

However, in the Kramatorsk and Bakhmut directions, the Russians opened fire along the entire line of confrontation, carried out an offensive, tried to take possession of Soledar, and block Bakhmut from the southeast and east.
"As a result of the massive use of artillery and active offensive and assault operations in the areas of the Dolomitnoye and Uglegorsk thermal power plants, the enemy managed to push our troops. The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were forced to leave Semigorye and go on the defensive on the eastern outskirts of Kodema," Gromov said.
The invaders also carried out an assault in the direction of Pokrovsky and Bakhmut, where fighting continues.

In the Avdiivka direction, the occupiers intensified their assault operations in order to force the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of the occupied lines and capture Avdiivka and Peski.
"On July 30, as a result of the enemy's active use of aviation, artillery fire and MLRS, and active offensive operations in the direction of Spartak - Avdiivka, units of the Defense Forces were forced to leave the Butovka mine and go on the defensive south of Avdiivka," Alexey Gromov summed up.
