SBU detained an assistant to the people's deputy, who wanted to head the occupation administration in the event of the capture of the Cherkasy region

Law enforcement officers detained an assistant to the current people's deputy, who wanted to become a Gauleiter in the event of the occupation of the Cherkasy region.

This was announced by the representative of the Security Service of Ukraine Artem Dekhtyarenko.
“The man not only justified the Russian aggression against our state, but also planned to head the occupation administration in the Cherkasy region if the enemy managed to capture the region. After the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he did not withdraw from the Opposition Platform for Life, but actively involved new like-minded people in the political force,” notes Dekhtyarenko.
As suggested by "Ukrainian Pravda", we are talking about Oleksandr Zamirail, an assistant to the people's deputy from the former "Opposition Platform - For Life" Vasily Nimchenko.

In particular, the man claimed that the war unleashed by the Russian Federation in Ukraine is a civil conflict, denied the Russian air strikes on civilian cities and the commission of crimes by the Russian military and spread fakes related to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and also resented the exchange of prisoners of war.

Later, Zamirailo tried to hide abroad and immigrate to the United States, but the special forces caught him on the eve of his departure.

Now he was informed about the suspicion under part 1, part. 3 Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

The issue of choosing a delayed measure of restraint is being decided.
