ZNPP workers leave the station en masse

20:30 28 October Kyiv, Ukraine

Employees of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) do not sign contracts with Rosatom and travel en masse to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

This was reported by Energoatom on Friday, October 28.

It is indicated that over the past two weeks, the Russians have been doing everything to force the staff to sign contracts with the fake enterprise JSC Operating Organization Zaporozhye NPP, which is controlled by Rosatom. They resort to pressure, stating that a thousand employees of the station allegedly have already signed contracts.

"However, this lie does not work. In fact, of the 6,700 workers left to work at the ZNPP occupied by the Russians, only about a hundred signed contracts with Rosatom. Moreover, the vast majority of those who did this agreed under pressure from the invaders," the statement said.

In addition, 4,300 ZNPP employees left for the territory controlled by Ukraine, and most of those who remained have a pro-Ukrainian position and continue to delay the signing of contracts as much as possible.

Nevertheless, some of the employees voluntarily agreed to work for Russia, including those from the ZNPP management team.

"Their names are known, and all of them will be responsible for their actions after the station is liberated and returned under the full control of Ukraine," the company assured.

It is also reported that "heavy artillery" arrived at ZNPP today - Gauleiter of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov and First Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko.

"They must demonstrate at least some success and convince the personnel of the plant, which is of such great importance to Russia, to sign contracts," Energoatom added.
