Investigators of the National Police have launched 75,477 criminal proceedings since February 24, 2022 on the facts of crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine by servicemen of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and their accomplices.
This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as of May 8, 2023.

- 63194 are open under art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the laws and customs of war);
- 9 190 - under Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Infringement on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
- 2837 - according to Art.. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration activity);
- 153 - under Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason);
- 38 - under Art. 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Sabotage), etc.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also reported that 52 places of detention were found in the de-occupied territories, where the Russians illegally detained and tortured Ukrainian citizens.
In addition, 69 criminal proceedings are reported on the facts of sexual violence by the military of the Russian Federation.
