Law enforcement officers continue to detain traitors in the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv region

Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation, with the assistance of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, detained traitors who had gone over to the side of the Russian occupiers.

It is reported that a former law enforcement officer who held a senior position in the village of Veliky Burluk was detained. After the capture of the settlement, the policeman voluntarily negotiated with the occupiers, gave them the premises of the cafe that belonged to his wife, as well as an official car, for use. In addition, he agitated his colleagues to go over to the side of the enemy.
"When the Armed Forces of Ukraine drove the invaders out of the village, the ex-law enforcement officer did not have time to escape and was detained. He was informed of suspicion on the fact of treason (part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides for life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
It is also reported that on the territory of the Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region, employees of the SBI recorded the collaboration activities of employees of the local forestry who helped the occupiers cut trees for the construction of fortifications. They were informed of suspicion on the fact of collaboration activities (part 5 of Art.. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), the sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 10 years.
