As a result of the Russians stopping the construction of a gas pipeline to Berdyansk and Melitopol, residents of the occupied part of the Zaporozhye region were left without gas on the eve of winter.

This was announced by the Center for National Resistance (CNS) on Wednesday, October 26.

In the spring, the invaders destroyed the gas pipeline in the temporarily occupied regions of the region.

Collaborator Yevgeny Balitsky promised to “restore gas supply” by the fall of 2022.

The Russians allegedly planned to launch a new gas pipeline from Rostov before October 1.

The start of the heating season in Melitopol and Berdyansk was postponed several times. However, now the invaders have stopped the construction of a gas pipeline to Berdyansk and Melitopol.

"According to the information of the underground, the invaders are now dismantling the gas pipeline between Berdyansk and Melitopol. Therefore, the region remains without gas supply."

The CNS called on local residents, if possible, to evacuate from the temporarily occupied territories until they are released.
