In the Donetsk region, two civilians were killed as a result of the shelling of the Russian Federation

In the Donetsk region over the past day, 2 people were killed and 10 were injured due to Russian shelling.

 
This was announced on July 18 by the head of the regional military administration, Pavel Kirilenko.
 
"On July 17, the Russians killed two civilians of Donbass: in Avdiivka and New Donbass. Ten more people were injured," he said.
 
In total, since the beginning of the military invasion of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk region, 625 civilians have been killed and 1,608 injured.

As Kirilenko stressed, it is currently impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
 
Earlier it was reported that on the night of July 18, Russian troops fired more than 60 shells from MLRS at Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region. A 75-year-old woman was injured in the attack.
