During the shelling, one of the buildings of JSC "Kharkovoblenergo" in the Kharkov region was damaged.

As a result, a significant part of consumers in several regions of Ukraine, including Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Sumy, Kherson and Chernihiv, were left without electricity.

According to the statement of the Ministry of Energy, as a result of the shelling, there were no dead or injured among the personnel.. Representatives of the enterprise and rescuers have already begun an inspection to determine the extent of damage.

Despite the difficult security situation, power engineers continue to work to restore power supply.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine has managed to restore electricity to 8,000 consumers, most of whom are located in Zaporozhye and Donetsk regions.

However, the capacity of the power grid is limited, which can lead to temporary power outages.. The energy system is in a stable working condition, but the situation remains tense.
