There is enough grain in Ukraine for both export and domestic consumption

The grain harvest, at the moment in Ukraine, should be enough for domestic consumption and for export.

 
This was stated by First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky on the air of the telethon.

According to him, despite the efforts of the Russian invaders to burn the fields, the farmers continue to work.
 
"We see from the indicators of the harvest that has already been harvested, although the harvest is in the active phase for only two weeks, that there are no threats to the next marketing year in terms of the physical availability of basic agricultural products. We will collect enough products to ensure domestic consumption, including the rest for export," Vysotsky said.
 
The official noted that it is time to think about the autumn sowing season, which should start in September. The Deputy Minister said that during the spring sowing campaign, 25% of the area was not sown.
 
"Most likely, these same territories - occupied, where hostilities are taking place - will be physically difficult to sow. And after liberation, demining, cleaning, etc. are needed. But we hope that this figure will not increase," Vysotsky summed up.
