On Monday, May 1, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation with New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Gipkins.
During the conversation, the leaders discussed cooperation in defense and humanitarian assistance, as well as the need for further consolidation of the countries of the Pacific region to support Ukraine.
Zelensky expressed gratitude for the participation of New Zealand in the training of the Ukrainian military and expressed hope for the continuation of this cooperation.
