The occupiers are not successful on the battlefield, despite the absolute fire advantage and the increase in the number of troops. This was announced on Friday, October 28, in the Telegram of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.

The report states that the commander-in-chief held telephone conversations with the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, and informed him of the main tasks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the moment.

In particular, he highlighted the key goals:

  • liberate the occupied territories,
  • prevent the enemy from capturing new areas,
  • to ensure the protection of critical infrastructure facilities of our state by means of air defense and anti-missile defense,
  • to continue the formation and training of reserves for the conduct of future hostilities.

"Thanks to the courage and professionalism of Ukrainian soldiers and officers, our borders remain unchanged, and the defensive operation is being carried out successfully in accordance with the plan," Valery Zaluzhny added.

Recall that today the General Staff reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck six bases of the occupiers.
