The authorities of the Russian Federation postponed the holding of pseudo-referendums in the occupied territories

The occupying authorities postponed the holding of pseudo-referendums in the occupied territories of Kherson, Zaporozhye and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine until the end of autumn.

This was reported by the Russian media on September 1, citing sources.

As the interlocutors of the publication clarified, starting preparations for the referendums in the Kremlin, they proceeded from the concept that, depending on the military situation, they can take place "in the near or distant future", where September was meant by the close one, and November by the distant one.

At the same time, it is emphasized that the optimistic scenario (referendums in September) will most likely not be implemented. One of the main reasons for this is that Russian troops did not reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk region.

November 4 (National Unity Day in the Russian Federation) is one of the possible dates, but the final decision will still depend "on the situation on the fronts."
