Almost 200 people are held captive by the Russian Federation in Zaporozhye region - OVA

In the temporarily occupied Zaporozhye region, the invaders have taken 453 civilians prisoner since March.

These are not prisoners of war, these are hostages, the head of the Zaporizhzhya OVA emphasized in an interview.

Some people were released from captivity in various ways, but, as Starukh reports, 191 people are still in captivity, and those people who are temporarily held for a day or two, threatening, demanding - thousands.
"Prisoners are tortured with electric current, mocked, demanded money, put pressure on families, threatened with the kidnapping of children," Starukh said.
