The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection will perform the functions of an authorized body for the protection of critical infrastructure.
The corresponding law was signed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to the document, the State Service for Special Communications will perform the functions of an authorized body for the protection of Ukraine's critical infrastructure during martial law, as well as for 12 months after its completion.
As Yury Shchigol, the head of the service, noted, a list of critical infrastructure facilities (OCI) is being created, and a register of critical information infrastructure facilities will also be formed and filled.
According to him, the service has all the necessary tools, technical base and sufficient human resources to effectively fulfill the new tasks assigned to it.
