The office of the Prosecutor General recorded the death as a result of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation 8311 civilians, including 437 children, more than 11 thousand civilians were injured. This was announced on Saturday, November 19, by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin on the air of the national telethon.

"To date, more than 45,000 war crimes and more than 19,000 crimes against the foundations of national security have been recorded.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the death of 8311 civilians, including 437 children, was recorded. More than 11,000 civilians were wounded.

But we understand that the real figure is much higher, we still do not have access to some occupied territories," he said.

He stressed that over the past two months alone, more than 700 bodies of the dead and killed have been found in the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv, Donetsk and Kherson regions.

"Almost 90% are civilians," Kostin said.

According to him, more than 20 places were found in these areas where Ukrainian citizens were illegally detained and tortured.. Most of the crimes against civilians and dungeons were recorded in the Kharkiv region.

Kostin added that in the recently liberated territory of the Kherson region, the prosecutor's office had just begun work to identify crimes committed by Russian invaders against civilians.

The Prosecutor General also added that 216 people were reported suspected of war crimes, of which 17 were Russian prisoners of war, the rest were suspected in absentia.

Indictments were sent to the court against 60 people, 12 people have already been convicted.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General said that massive attacks on civilian infrastructure will not prevent prosecutors from achieving results in the investigation of international crimes of the Russian Federation.
