In recent weeks, the sounds of explosions have been heard almost daily in the occupied Crimea and Sevastopol, which the Russian authorities explain by shooting down "Ukrainian drones" and "air defense work."
Preliminary damage from explosions at Russian military facilities in the Saki and Dzhankoy regions of Crimea is estimated at 700 million rubles. This was announced on Friday, September 2, by the head of the occupying power of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, on the air of the Russian state television channel in Crimea, Millet, reports Krym.Realii.
At the same time, he clarified that the figure is not final and the commission is still checking the damage and counting.
In total, according to Aksenov, more than four thousand objects were damaged.
It should be noted that the air defense of the invaders in Crimea is led by former Ukrainian military Denis Podobedov, who defected to the Russian side in 2014.
Recall that the permanent representative of the President in Crimea, Tamila Tasheva, said that the number of residents of the temporarily occupied peninsula, who openly demonstrate support for Ukraine, is increasing.
