Ukrainians - business representatives will be allowed to travel abroad

The Government of Ukraine has decided to allow Ukrainian business representatives who officially pay salaries and do not have tax debts and fees to travel abroad from September 1.

This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko on the air of the national telethon.

In her opinion, this is an important step necessary for business.. Thanks to this, Ukrainians will be able to participate in international events, sign business contracts and return to Ukraine in order to develop their business.
“From September 1, a business that officially pays wages, has no debts on taxes and fees to the budget, whose average salary is at least UAH 20,000, 10% of the staff (but not more than 10 people) will be able to leave at the request of the employer,” – the official clarified.
To travel abroad you need:
  • officially pay salaries;
  • not have debts on taxes and fees;
  • provide tax returns in a timely manner.
The average salary of employees must be at least 20 thousand hryvnia. 10% of the staff will be able to leave, but no more than ten people. Departure time - up to 7 days.

You will also need to deposit 200,000 hryvnias of collateral to your account at Oschadbank. This money will be returned after the person who was on a business trip returns to Ukraine.

The Ministry of Digital Development added that a new travel service is being launched for entrepreneurs to travel abroad. Individual entrepreneurs and legal entities will be able to apply for departure on the Diya portal.
