The Verkhovna Rada has no complaints about the activities of the Security Service of Ukraine. During the war, the special service performs all its functional duties and constantly communicates with parliamentarians to improve its work.
Fyodor Venislavsky, People's Deputy, member of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence of the Verkhovna Rada, said this on the air of NV radio.
“We, in parliament, among people's deputies, do not have any global dissatisfaction with the activities of the Security Service, ” he said.
Venislavsky also said that during the martial law, the Committee repeatedly invited the heads of the special services in areas, and recently heard the leadership of the SBU behind closed doors.
“There is a normal productive dialogue between the committee and the leadership of the SBU, and now there is no reason to talk about initiating any personnel changes in the Security Service,” the people’s deputy is convinced.
He also said that the SBU regularly detains Russian agents and collaborators and works daily to reduce their number.
At the same time, the MP suggests that Ukrainian society is permeated with deeply conspiratorial sympathizers and agents of Russia, who need to be exposed in the future.
Recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky previously stated that he did not plan to change the head of the SBU, and if he wanted to fire Ivan Bakanov, he would have done it long ago. So far, there are no grounds for this.
