US to announce new aid package for Ukraine today

16:28 04 November Kyiv, Ukraine

Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov announced the announcement of a new package of assistance to Ukraine from the United States. He said this at a briefing.
"I think today we will hear about the announcement of a new aid package for Ukraine from the United States. It will be signed by President Biden... We will hear good news - I already know them," the minister said.
Reznikov is also convinced that, despite the election results, US support will remain bipartisan and bicameral.
"I have repeatedly met with representatives of the Senate and Congress, and each time the delegations were bipartisan. I communicate on an ongoing basis with Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, with his team. I clearly understand that US support will remain bipartisan and bicameral too," he said.
According to Reznikov, the overwhelming majority of the American people support Ukraine "in this unjust war."
"And the American people want Ukraine's victory. And Americans are very pragmatic people, Americans love to win. They understand that they will be partners in this war, in victory over evil," the minister said.
