11:12 01 July Kyiv, Ukraine

In response to Russian aggression, Ukraine introduces a visa regime for Russian citizens from July 1. But even if you have a visa, your trip may be denied.
To get to Ukraine, Russians will have to apply to VFS Global visa centers in one of eight cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don and Samara.

After that, according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, visa applications will be processed by Ukrainian diplomatic institutions in third countries in cooperation with the competent authorities.

Recall that on February 11, a petition was published on the website of the President of Ukraine on the introduction of a visa regime for citizens of the Russian Federation. In May, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky supported this initiative. The Cabinet of Ministers of the country approved this proposal on June 17.
