European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said peace in Ukraine is impossible until Russia withdraws its troops, but the Kremlin shows no signs of being ready to do so.

It is reported by Reuters
"I'm afraid that Russia is not ready to leave, and until she leaves, peace will be impossible.. It is Russia that must make the world possible. The aggressor must leave if he wants a lasting peace," Borrell added.
The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian military strikes at the energy infrastructure of Ukraine because of the "refusal" of our government from the negotiations.
"The unwillingness of the Ukrainian side to solve the problem, enter into negotiations, which is more, the actions of the Ukrainian side to abandon the agreed understandings of the text, and so on, these are all the consequences, and this should also be discussed," Peskov said.
Oleg Nikolenko, spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, said that the Kremlin's statement about the shelling of Ukrainian energy infrastructure "should open the eyes of some countries."
