Poland has expressed readiness to transfer MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, but will retain F-16 aircraft, since their number in the country is limited.

This was stated by Polish President Andrzej Duda during a meeting in Reykjavik, according to information published on the wPolityce portal.
“We have a limited number of F-16 aircraft. We are ready to support the Ukrainian pilots in the preparation process, as I discussed with the Prime Minister and the Minister of National Defense some time ago. However, the number of our F-16 aircraft does not allow us to transfer any part of them to Ukraine at the moment," Duda said.
Nevertheless, he confirmed his readiness for the further transfer of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine.
