The Prime Minister of Ukraine met with the President of the European Parliament

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola and heads of political groups.

 
He announced this in his Telegram channel.

The Prime Minister noted that Ukraine and Ukrainians are in the focus of attention of the European Parliament.
 
"I thanked our friends for their determination and leadership in helping Ukraine. The first EP plenary session of the new season will take place next week. I am sure that the European Parliament and other institutions will once again emphasize their unwavering support for Ukraine and make victory in the war an unconditional priority," Shmyhal said.
 
According to him, the priorities remain: military assistance, increased sanctions pressure, financial and humanitarian support for Ukraine.
 
"After Ukraine receives candidate status, our key priority is to move to the negotiation process of membership. We count on the support of the European Parliament on this issue," the head of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
