Liz Truss, the newly elected Prime Minister of Britain, may come to Kyiv in the near future. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already begun to prepare the politician's visit.

This statement was made by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Vadym Prystaiko on the air of the telethon.

The diplomat recalled that Truss was last in Kyiv on February 17, seven days before the start of a full-scale Russian invasion. Then she repeatedly expressed her desire to come to Ukraine.
"When (Truss) formally becomes Prime Minister (September 6), I think the call will immediately take place, and arrangements for the visit of Liz Truss will not be long in coming.. We, as a diplomatic system, have already begun to prepare both this conversation and the arrival of Liz Truss in Kyiv," Prystaiko said.
