Macro assistance from the EU will be used to finance the state budget - Ministry of Finance

Five billion euros of macro-financial assistance from the European Union will be used to finance the urgent needs of the state budget.

 
This was announced by the Ministry of Finance on Thursday, September 15.
 
"Additional EU funding will help mitigate the economic consequences of Russia's devastating war against our state," Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko said.
 
The total amount of EU macro-financial assistance provided to Ukraine will amount to 12.21 billion euros (including the eighth EU macro-financial assistance and loans already received by Ukraine during 2014-2022 under the previous seven programs).
