During a meeting with a diplomat, Galushchenko spoke about the state of the Ukrainian energy infrastructure after the shelling, and also explained the restrictions on energy supply for a large number of consumers. The minister stressed that energy companies are making extraordinary efforts to restore electricity supply.

"Winter is just a few days away and we need to get our electricity supply chains back up as soon as possible.. The word "urgent" is too weak to describe how urgently we must do this," Galushchenko said.

In turn, Harsh Kumar Jain assured the Ukrainian side of full support and readiness to provide the necessary assistance.

What kind of assistance is in question is not specified.
