Kyiv city prosecutor's office launched an investigation into the shelling

Under the procedural leadership of the Kyiv city prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (parts 1, 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

This is reported by the Office of the Attorney General.

According to the investigation, on November 23, the armed forces of the Russian Federation, using means of warfare prohibited by international humanitarian law, launched rocket attacks on civilian infrastructure in Kyiv. As a result of rocket attacks, three civilians were killed and ten more were injured. Rescue work continues at the scene. Information about the dead and injured is being specified.

Prosecutors, together with investigators, are documenting the consequences of yet another Russian armed aggression.

Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by investigators of the Main Directorate of the SBU in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
