According to a Facebook post by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General, the head of Ural Airlines, Sergey Skuratov, was suspected of assisting the top leadership of the Russian Federation and the Russian armed forces in waging an aggressive war.

He was accused of organizing the transfer of the military of the Russian Federation to the border of Ukraine by civil air transport, using his official position and giving appropriate instructions.

The civil aircraft of the airline of the suspect have been flying to the closed international airports "Platov" in Rostov-on-Don and "Simferopol" in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea from October 2023 to the present.
