Head of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko said that on November 15, Russia carried out the most massive shelling of the energy system since the beginning of the war.. There may be consequences for neighboring countries as well.
"Today, again, Russia is launching large-scale missile strikes on energy facilities.. This is the most massive shelling of the energy system since the beginning of the war," he said.
According to him, the attack could affect not only the energy system of Ukraine, but also the energy systems of some neighboring countries.
"Hits occur throughout the Ukrainian energy system: both on generation facilities and on the electricity transmission system.. Emergency shutdowns have been introduced," Galushchenko added.
According to him, after defeats in the military and international arenas, the Russian Federation is making "another attempt at terrorist revenge and is trying to inflict maximum damage on our energy system on the eve of winter."
"I ask everyone to treat the critical situation with energy supply with understanding, to remain calm and trust the power engineers and the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Galushchenko stressed.
