G7 and NATO to meet soon

Next week, the G7 and NATO will meet to develop a new plan to increase pressure on the Russian Federation and also discuss China's position.

This was reported by Reuters, citing sources.

The inclusion of the leaders of Australia, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand at the NATO summit was intended to show that the war in Ukraine has not distracted Western attention from China, officials said.

G7 leaders are also expected to consider the economic moves of China, which has become even more aggressive in recent years, a Biden administration official said.
"Russia's war against Ukraine has energized our partnerships around the world," another source said.. – However, this does not mean that Ukraine makes us look away from China.. In fact, just the opposite."
According to a White House spokesman, the new strategic concept that NATO leaders must adopt will be aimed at addressing the threats that exist from both Russia and China.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will speak at both meetings online.
