Two drones destroyed and damaged Russian equipment for $28.35 million - Zaluzhny

From August 31 to September 2, one pair of Turkish Bayraktar TV2 drones destroyed the military equipment of the Russian aggressors with a total value of about $ 26.5 million. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny on Facebook on Saturday, September 3.

"These are eight units of T-72 tanks (estimated cost of one is $3 million), one unit of self-propelled guns AKATSIYA ($1.6 million), infantry fighting vehicles ($0.6 million) and howitzers ($0.3 million). Five T-72 tanks and one infantry fighting vehicle were damaged for $1.85 million," he wrote.

Zaluzhny added that the total cost of destroyed and damaged Russian equipment is $28.35 million.

"Effective Turkish Bayraktars in the capable hands of our soldiers are powerful weapons! One of the devices is help from friendly Lithuania," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted and released a video of the destruction of one of the Russian tanks.

Earlier on Saturday, it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled attacks on six settlements.. At the same time, the aviation of the Defense Forces made more than 40 sorties to support the actions of ground groups.

It was also reported that during the day on September 2, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed at least 350 Russian invaders. The enemy also lost 25 tanks, 37 armored vehicles and other equipment.
