Britain introduces new sanctions against the Russian Federation: restrictions will affect jet fuel and technology

Britain has banned the supply of jet fuel, goods and technologies related to work at sea, oil and its processing, chemical and biological weapons, as well as critical industrial technologies to Russia

Britain also banned the sending of pound and euro banknotes to Russia. These restrictions also apply to the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russia.
In addition, the provision of technical assistance and other services related to the import of iron and steel is prohibited.

The UK also imposed sanctions on the import, purchase or supply of goods from Russia for the purpose of making a profit, as well as related funds, technical, financial, brokerage services.

Earlier, British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss promised that London would impose new sanctions against Russia until it withdraws troops from Ukraine.. She added that Britain would continue to supply Kyiv with weapons, as well as support its attempts to "force Russia out of its territory."
