Since the military invasion of Ukraine on February 24, the Russian Federation has committed 2,200 crimes against the environment.

This was announced on November 7 by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Emine Dzhaparova on Twitter.

"The damage to the environment has already exceeded 37.4 billion euros. A serious problem is air pollution. This is caused by burning oil products and forest fires," she said.
