The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine plans to evacuate several tens of thousands of people from dangerous regions.

Minister Irina Vereshchuk said this in an interview with the Italian edition of Adnkronos, according to the website of the department.

Today Russia blocks evacuation routes, does not open gum corridors. In turn, the Ukrainian authorities, together with volunteers, are trying in every possible way to help compatriots leave dangerous regions for government-controlled territory.

"We hope to break through the blockade in the near future," the official said.

She recalled that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the Ministry of Reintegration has managed to evacuate more than 350 thousand citizens from the temporarily occupied territories, from the siege or from those where hostilities are taking place.
