During the invasion, the Russians killed almost four hundred children in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 390 children have died as a result of the actions of the Russian military. The total number of affected children is 1149, of which more than 759 were injured of varying severity.

This was reported in the Office of the Attorney General.

Most of the victims were in Donetsk region - 395, Kharkiv region - 219, and also in Kyiv region - 116.

For example, on September 16 in Kharkiv, two children aged 5 and 17 were injured during shelling, on September 17 in Chuguev, an 11-year-old girl died from injuries in the hospital, and on September 18, as a result of shelling, an 11-year-old boy was wounded in Kupyansky. Of the more than two hundred affected children since the end of February in the Kharkiv region, 55 have died.

Also in the Donetsk region on September 18, a 12-year-old girl was injured in Toretsk.

Among the regions where the largest number of affected children were recorded during the full-scale invasion are the Mykolaiv region, in which there are 72, Chernihiv - 68, Luhansk - 61, Kherson - 55, Zaporozhye - 46, and Dnipropetrovsk - 26.

The Office of the Prosecutor General reminds that the figures regarding the victims are not final, because work continues to identify victims in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
