During martial law, Ukraine received 8.5 thousand tons of medical humanitarian aid

During martial law, Ukraine received 8.5 thousand tons of medical humanitarian aid for a total amount of more than 12 billion hryvnias.

 
This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Health notes that this is a total support from 35 countries of the world and more than 60 international and charitable organizations, medical institutions, foreign and Ukrainian companies, as well as governments of different states.
 
"All humanitarian aid is prioritized. First of all, to cover the needs of medical institutions located in the combat zone and near them, as well as those involved in the treatment of the wounded. In addition, the focus is on the establishment of regions with a large number of internally displaced persons," the ministry said.
 
According to Deputy Minister of Health Maria Karchevich, the Ministry of Health has established cooperation with volunteers and philanthropists to coordinate interaction and promptly meet medical needs.
