13:36 01 August Kyiv, Ukraine

The state portal "Children of War" will help law enforcement agencies collect information about children who suffered during the war.

This was reported by the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Rights of the Child and Child Rehabilitation Daria Gerasimchuk.
"This is the place where you can report a missing child, crimes against children, if you have found a child, if you know about the fact of deportation, forced change of citizenship, adoption," Gerasimchuk said.
The portal is regularly updated by law enforcement agencies and the National Information Bureau and provides a feedback function.

As of August 1, according to the Office of the President, 693 children have been injured as a result of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, 358 have died, 203 are missing, and at least 5,754 have been forcibly displaced and deported.

According to Gerasimchuk, law enforcement officers found 4,039 wanted children, 47 children were returned from deportation. At the same time, Russia claims at least 450,000 children displaced and deported to Russia.
“And they do not intend to return our children to us. Ukraine has never faced such a threat to the life and freedoms of a child before.. Therefore, now more than ever it is important to receive information as comprehensive and prompt as possible in order to record, investigate crimes and save,” Gerasimchuk emphasized.
