Ukrainians living in the Chinese city of Shanghai held a charity event in support of Ukrainian citizens affected by Russian aggression.
The meeting was organized by the Ukrainian society of the city with the assistance of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Shanghai.
The event was attended by more than 100 people, including Ukrainians and a group of Chinese students of the Shanghai University of Foreign Languages who study Ukrainian.
Those present got acquainted with Ukrainian culture and customs, tasted Ukrainian national cuisine, took part in an open microphone and competed in themed quizzes.
As Anton Matusevich, one of the activists of the community, noted, the main purpose of the event was to unite Ukrainians living in the country, which today does not show much friendship for Ukraine.
