Ukrzaliznytsia says it has no plans to raise freight rates in 2023.

This was stated by a member of the board of the company Yevgeny Lyashchenko on Friday, August 12.

"We are not planning an increase in tariffs next year.. We understand that this would be correct, but we still need to further discuss this issue with the market," he said.

It is planned to compensate for possible losses by increasing the volume of cargo transportation.

"We see that next year will be more balanced, but everything will depend on state support and investment activity," Lyashchenko added.

He also noted that Ukrzaliznytsia does not have enough funds for the planned repairs and restoration of infrastructure next year.
