There will be scheduled blackouts in all regions today

07:03 21 November Kyiv, Ukraine

On Monday, November 21, there will be scheduled power outages in all regions of Ukraine. Emergency shutdowns are not yet predicted.

This was reported in Ukrenergo.
“Over the weekend, we managed to somewhat soften the restriction of consumption, despite the sharp cooling. No additional outages are forecast for Monday, November 21. We continue to do our best to return light to your homes," Ukrenergo added.
Hourly outage schedules are drawn up and used by oblenergos, a list of which can be found at the link .

Earlier, DTEK explained that stabilization shutdowns occur at the initiative of NPC Ukrenergo for a predetermined amount of electricity that needs to be saved.. At the same time, emergency shutdowns have to be applied when NPC Ukrenergo needs to balance the power system for more power than is provided for by the schedule.
"It is impossible to predict them, because we receive a command suddenly and must fulfill it within 10-15 minutes," DTEK added.
