Nearly 8,500 civil servants fired in Ukraine since Russia's full-scale invasion

Since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 8,479 civil servants have been fired, according to Ukraine's National Civil Service Agency.

In total, there are more than 168 thousand civil servants in Ukraine. Of these, more than 127,000 work as usual, almost 14,000 work remotely.
Also, 18,000 employees in the civil service are on idle time, and almost 7,000 are on unpaid leave. More than 6,500 went abroad to save children.

3568 civil servants serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. About 7,500 civil servants are in the temporarily occupied territory or within the combat areas, 53 people were killed, 446 are missing.
