The deputies of the Chernivtsi Regional Council voted for a ban on the activities of organizations with a church-canonical connection with the aggressor country in the region.
This decision was taken to ensure the strengthening of national security in the field of freedom of conscience and the activities of religious organizations.
The head of the Chernivtsi regional military administration, Ruslan Zaparanyuk, pointed out that religious communities, whose control center is located in the aggressor country, cannot hold services in the cities and villages of the region.
The decision was supported by 40 deputies of the Chernivtsi Regional Council.
