Despair of the occupiers: women in Mariupol are urged to go to war

14:43 23 September Kyiv, Ukraine

Due to the successful offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russians are trying to mobilize the population of the occupied territories. In Mariupol, they began to distribute leaflets calling on women to join the occupiers and go to war against Ukraine.
This was reported in the Mariupol City Council.

Officials published an example of a leaflet on which it says in Russian “What are you ready for in order to win?”.

The Mariupol City Council says that the appearance of such leaflets is evidence of the desperation of Russians.
“We call on Mariupol residents not to cooperate with the occupiers! Don't believe in propaganda. Russians are afraid of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and want to use Mariupol residents as “cannon fodder”. Especially after the pseudo-referendums,” they say.
Information that in some occupied territories the Russians are considering the option of mobilizing women for war has appeared before. For example, in the occupied Lugansk region, the leaders of the so-called “LPR” had signed a corresponding decree back in May. It was planned to include women from 35 to 50 years old in the “mobilization reserve”, with an exception for single mothers and those with three or more children.

Recall that forced mobilization in the territories occupied by the Russian Federation is a violation of Article 51 of the Geneva Convention. If you live in the occupied territories, then read the instructions on what to do if you are forcibly drafted to war.
