The Ministry of Education and Science advises schools to create flexible lesson schedules that will be adjusted to power outage schedules, said First Deputy Minister Andriy Vitrenko.

"We advise teaching staff to create flexible schedules for the educational process, which will be correlated with power outage schedules in a particular educational institution. This is the only way out that exists today," a ministry spokesman said during a briefing.

Similar recommendations are made for other levels of education.

Vitrenko noted that the department is working on various mechanisms to provide children with the ability to download reference lessons to their gadgets when there is electricity.
