Since the invasion of the Russian Federation, the Ukrainian military has received almost half a million liters of fuel from Metinvest, according to the company's website on Tuesday, August 30.

Metinvest's deliveries helped the army cope with fuel shortages, especially at the start of the war.

"Our defenders are eager to clear Ukraine of enemies, and we made sure that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had cars with full tanks of fuel.. This war is built on mobility, maneuverability and the ability to be one step ahead of the enemy – that’s why we are handing over technological drones and thermal imagers to the military,” said Yury Ryzhenkov, CEO of Metinvest Group.

He noted that everyone is fighting on their own front: "Defenders defend the independence of Ukraine on the front line. And metallurgists, miners, miners and repairmen are making efforts to support the economy."

In just six months of the war, Metinvest sent more than UAH 1.9 billion to help Ukraine and Ukrainians. In addition to fuel, the company provides the military with protective ammunition, cars, drones, thermal imagers, medicines, etc.
